This website has been designed for use within Australia. By accessing this website you are agreeing that the Courts of Victoria, Australia will deal with any disputes which may arise between you and us, and that the laws of Victorias, Australia shall be the applicable law.

Our staff are responsible for securing your personal information. All Surrounding Australia Pty Ltd employees have been made aware of the requirements of the National Privacy Principles and the Privacy Act. All personal information is protected on our systems through the use of passwords and other security procedures including physical, network and computer security. Access to your personal information is limited to those who specifically need it to conduct their responsibilities. We take reasonable steps to destroy or permanently de-identify your personal information where it is no longer required and to protect your personal information from unauthorised access, disclosure, loss, misuse and alteration.

DELIVERY POLICY

We process all orders within three business days. Some products ship directly from the manufacturer to cut down on shipping and transit time. Occasionally products are on backorder or out of stock. Merchandise will be shipped as soon as it comes in from the manufacturer.

Delivery time frames are between 3 days and 13 weeks as most products are shipped from Europe. The timeframes are listed in the specs for each product.

All orders require a signature on receipt. Small and medium parcels are sent via Australia Post or Australia Air Express courier. If there is nobody present to sign, the merchandise will be forwarded to your local post office where you can pick it up. Larger deliveries will be sent via courier and we will contact you with a delivery time. If there is nobody present to sign, the merchandise will be returned to Surrounding and you will be responsible for the cost of re-delivery. 

We are unable to redirect orders once items have been dispatched.

If you refuse a delivery from Surrounding, you are responsible for the original delivery charges, and the cost of returning the merchandise to Surrounding. This amount will be deducted from your merchandise refund.

HOW MUCH DOES DELIVERY COST?

Delivery is calculated at the checkout and is specific to each item, as we have many products in various weights, sizes and levels of fragility. You are also welcome to save on delivery and pick up the item from our warehouse, located in South Yarra, Melbourne. Please contact us to arrange self-pickup. 

RETURN POLICY

Merchandise purchased from Surrounding Australia Pty Ltd may be returned in the original condition and unused for a store credit, excluding any shipping charges. You must contact customer care within 7 days of receipt of the merchandise. Refunds are only given in the case of faulty merchandise. Please see HOW DO I RETURN SOMETHING TO SURROUNDING under FAQ for instructions on how to make a return.

If you believe an item is faulty, we may need to have the item assessed by the manufacturer to determine whether or not you are entitled to a refund. Most items have a manufacturer’s warranty. Note Surrounding Australia Pty Ltd will, at all times, honour its obligations under the Australian Consumer Law.

Special Orders - (Made to Order or Custom Orders) are not covered under the return policy. These products are custom made to your specification, (size, color, style, finish, fabric) or are products that are specially imported for you. For the purposes of the return policy, “Custom Orders” shall be constructed to apply to ALL products in the Jielde, Fontana Arte, Leucos, and Luxello brand lines. These products are non returnable and cannot be exchanged.

Trade orders are not covered under the return policy - products cannot be exchanged or returned. Merchandise will be replaced or repaired if found to be faulty.
